VALDARNO

Valdarno, located between the Chianti hills and the Pratomagno mountains, is divided between the provinces of Arezzo and Florence.
The whole area has great naturalistic and landscape interest: both the valley floor and the hills are covered by vineyards and olive groves, picturesque clayey erosion phenomena are observed, Le Balze, and going back to the watersheds you can find woods, in particular oaks, chestnut trees and beeches.
Along the Valdarno stretch of the Arno is the WWF oasis, Bandella nature reserve.

MONTEVARCHI

Montevarchi is located on the edge of the Chianti, between the plain and the left bank of the Arno.
It is pleasant to walk through the streets and alleys of the city characterized by the “almond” plant that makes the urban conformation of its historical center unique in the world.
Numerous places of historical and cultural interest including: Museo Paleontologico, the Museo del Cassero, the Collegiate Church of San Lorenzo with the adjacent Museum of Sacred Art and the Palazzo del Podestà.

SAN GIOVANNI VALDARNO

The history of San Giovanni Valdarno is rather recent: it was founded in 1296 by decision of Florence.
The characteristic historical center offers many shops and numerous places of historical and cultural interest: the Palazzo Pretorio dating back to the XIII-XVI century, and designed by Arnolfo di Cambio, the basilica of S. Maria delle Grazie with some terracottas by Giovanni della Robbia.
Among the various buildings of note, on the Corso, the House of Masaccio, the famous painter to whom San Giovanni gave birth in 1401, now an exhibition venue, houses the Municipal Collection of Modern and Contemporary Art.

FIGLINE VALDARNO

Location located in the center of the Valdarno just at the gates of Chianti.
The historic center is characterized by a picturesque square with arcades, the "Collegiata di Santa Maria", the Ex-Spedale Serristori, not far from the Palazzo Pretorio.
Leaving the Piazza, you can still see sections of the boundary walls and well-preserved and recently restored fortified towers.

LA TORRE DI GALATRONA

The Torre di Galatrona is what remains of one of the most important castles of Valdambra and Valdarno, located in a strategic and dominant position.
The castle stood in a fundamental junction, along a branch of the Via Cassia that connected Rome to Florence.
The name of the place, Galatrona (formerly Canastruna) is derived from Etruscan, although some remains found in the area testify to a late-Roman settlement.

CHIANTI CLASSICO

The “capitals” of Chianti are the cities of Florence and Siena and its lands extend right between the two provinces: including the towns of Castellina in Chianti, Gaiole in Chianti, Greve in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, Castelnuovo Berardenga , and the magnificent castles of Chianti.

VALD’ORCIA

Val d’Orcia is a large valley located in Tuscany, in the province of Siena and partly in that of Grosseto.
The valley is also an important park, natural, artistic and cultural, and since 2 July 2004 has been recognized World Heritage by UNESCO, for the excellent conservation status of the landscape.
Characterized by several centers of medieval origin, two of which are very well known as Pienza and Montalcino.

CRETE SENESI

When we say Tuscany, in the vast majority of cases, the collective imagination immediately flies to those magical, evocative and fascinating landscapes made up of an isolated farmhouse that stands on a hill preceded by a long avenue lined with cypresses and surrounded by a real and just “lunar landscape”. 
These picturesque sceneries, become an icon of our beautiful land thanks to many famous films, are the Crete Senesi a vast area on the border between the provinces of Arezzo and Siena that extends practically to the foot of Mount Amiata.

CASENTINO

The Casentino is a small valley in Tuscany on the border with Romagna.
The silence and the peace of timeless places. Among these forests that make a religious atmosphere of great intensity, they guard two of the greatest spirituality centers in the world, the Hermitage of Camaldoli, founded by San Romualdo in 1012 and the Sanctuary of the Verna founded by Saint Francis.
